Hannah Nash
Born in rural New South Wales, Australia, Hannah began her ballet vocation at 4 years old, announcing her plans to one day become a “barrelina”. After 11 years at her local school, Classé Ballet Academy in the Blue Mountains, at 15 she began full time training and distance education with Hilary Kaplan and Archibald McKenzie at Alegria Dance Studios in Sydney. In 2017 she was accepted into the English National Ballet School based in London, United Kingdom. During the three year course, she has been fortunate enough to learn and grow both as a dancer and human being, under the guidance of world renowned teachers and professionals. Performance opportunities have extended to that of touring the UK as part of the school and company’s collaboration in “My First Ballet: Swan Lake” and “The Sleeping Beauty” in 2018 and 2019 respectively, as well as assisting in English National Ballet’s production of ‘Cinderella’ as well as the company’s 70th Anniversary Gala earlier this year. Once she has graduated in July of this year with a Diploma in Professional Dance, Hannah will begin her professional career with the Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
