Jasmine Boehm

Jasmine Boehm is both a dance teacher and a skilled photographer. 

Situated in Albury- Wodonga Jasmine specialises in dance and creative photography working closely with Tim Podesta and the artists of Projection dance as well as with visiting international dancers and on many freelance projects.

Jasmine has been involved greatly in the arts from a young age both nationally and internationally. With over 25 years of experience as a classical dancer Jasmine has performed with Sydney Youth Ballet and trained and performed with Goh Ballet in Canada and on international tours.  Jasmine has been teaching dance for over 8 years and is a current RAD registered teacher.

Jasmine’s work as both a teacher and photographer is fuelled by passion and a dedication to the precision and detail she finds applies to both pursuits. She is passionate about working with dancers to help them fulfil their potential both behind the camera and in the dance studio. Jasmine’s understanding and experience in dance enhances her ability to create lines, shapes and forms and optimise the technique, energy and artistry of dancers.

A professional photographer for 7 years, Jasmine has attained a Diploma of Photo Imaging. Jasmine has worked  with Fashion Photographer Sebastion Kriete in Sydney and been involved with The Dancers’ Directive gala since its inception documenting events in support of spinal injury treatment. Jasmine remains actively involved with The Dancers’ Directive and their fundraising work.

Jasmine is delighted to be part of the BWA team as both a photographer and teacher, her passion for Australian wildlife inspires her photography and her love of dance is evident in both her photography and her teaching making Jasmine the perfect addition to the BWA team.
