Ballet Workshops Australia is incredibly proud and excited to present our very first regional gala performance to be held in conjunction with our Summer Dance Workshop in Armidale in January!
Due to the developing COVID situation in NSW our Armidale workshop and gala concert has been postponed to January 20-22nd at which point we will enjoy a beautiful summer dance workshop and gala with you all! In the meantime stay safe, keep smiling and KEEP DANCING!
Students alongside teachers/professional dancers will prepare and present an exciting program of works which will be performed at the Arts Theatre at the University of New England. Tickets sales are open to the public. We are delighted to showcase local talent as well as bring some professional dancers with experience performing both in Australia and Internationally to the stage in Armidale and we invite you to share in this unique, premiere event!
Classes will be held at Australian Dance Enterprises of New England (Uniting Church Hall, Rusden Street) & New England Dance Theatre (NEDT Studio, Suites 1-4, 165 Beardy Street). Each level will have a location assigned for workshop classes closer to the date.

Classes are open to all ability and experience levels, no prior experience necessary.
Ballet
Thursday 20th January — 10:00-11:30am
Friday 21st January — 11:00-12:30pm
Saturday 22nd January — 10:00-11:00am
Contemporary
Thursday 20th January — 11:30-1:00pm
Pilates
Friday 21st January — 10:00-11:00am
Saturday 22nd January — 9:00-10:00am
Adult students may choose to do as many or as few classes as they would like! There will be an option for adults to participate in our gala performance at the Arts Theatre on Saturday 22nd January for those who would like to do so- this is not mandatory!
$30 each | $100 for 4 Classes | $250 for 10 Classes
Rehearsal times will be confirmed closer to the date for each level with rehearsals running from 10 am.
Private Lessons
Private lesson pricing takes into consideration the cost of studio/hall hire where applicable as well as our teachers' time and creativity if choreographing a solo!
Please leave your details and what you/your child would like to work on in a private lesson and we will be in contact with available times, teachers and pricing. We will, as ever, do our best to accommodate everyone and make sure all of our dancers who wish to have some private coaching!
